4th Graders instructional time focuses on three critical areas: Multiplication and Division, Fractions, and Geometry. More specifically, 4th grade students are:

developing an understanding and fluency of multi-digit multiplication and division
developing an understanding of equivalent fractions, adding and subtracting fractions with like denominators, and multipliying fractions by whole numbers
understanding that geometric figures can be analyzed and classified based on their properties including parallel and perpendicular sides, angle measures, and symmetry.
